Silver Lake Rodeo plays original songs built on twangy guitars, big choruses, and the spirit of 1950s and ’60s rock and roll, filtered through classic country and modern Americana. Led by Arizona songwriter Sloan Walters, the band features Eric Lauterbach on guitar, Joel Marquard on guitar and keys, Garrett Federico on bass, and John Blades on drums.
Members of Silver Lake Rodeo have played in bands whose music has been featured on TV, in film, on NPR, and on college radio, and have performed on stages from local clubs to SXSW and Country Thunder. As Silver Lake Rodeo, the band has played Valley Bar, the Dirty Drummer, and Dreamy Draw Music Festival. With a new lineup that’s tight and well rehearsed, Silver Lake Rodeo is ready to play anywhere: dive bars, theaters, festivals, and opening or support slots for touring and local acts.
